Directions From Calgary:
The Calgary International Airport is Banff's closest airport. Exit the airport via Airport Road NE. At the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Barlow Trail North and then turn left onto Airport Trail NE. Follow Airport Trail until it turns left to head south on Deerfoot Trail NE (Provincial Highway 2 South) via the ramp on the left, towards downtown Calgary. Follow this road until exit 258 to merge onto Trans Canada Highway West (16 Avenue NW). The Trans Canada will head straight to Banff, going past the town of Canmore. About 15 minutes after Canmore exit, there is an exit on the right to Banff. Take this exit and turn left onto Banff Avenue. The High Country Inn will be on the right hand side at 419 Banff Avenue.
